The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the beach with beautiful surroundings and a calming atmosphere. the rooms are clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and nice balconies/terraces. the staff provide exceptional service, driving guests wherever and whenever they want and even cooking delicious Sri Lankan dinners.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and the bathrooms were spotlessly clean. the location was great, just a short walk from the noisy main road, making it a peaceful place to stay. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any requests or inquiries. the breakfast provided was delicious and there was a wide variety of options to choose from.

That the room was a bit dark and could have benefited from some additional lighting. It was also a bit difficult to find the hotel as there were no signs on the main path and Google Maps showed the wrong location.

The highlight of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Sisira, the hotel manager, was particularly helpful in organizing our trips to Yala national park, Kandy, and Dambulla. We are grateful for his reliability and assistance. we highly recommend this hotel for its beautiful surroundings, attentive staff, and convenient location near the beach and restaurants.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Tara for 5 nights. The staff were incredibly friendly and the airport transfers were seamless. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and lovely balcony. The pool was the perfect temperature and provided a refreshing escape from the hot days. The short walk to the beach was convenient and they even provided towels for the pool and beach. The option for a late check-out was great and if not available, the hotel had alternative facilities. Additionally, the villa's resident dogs were adorable and welcoming.

The general areas were very well-maintained and provided a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible, with ramps and handrails in place for easy navigation.

Although the children working there were polite and helpful, I would have loved to see some additional activities or facilities specifically tailored for senior guests.
